Ember Days

One day, a LARP group arrived at their usual spot in the park only to discover that they had forgotten to file the permit and a kickball game was already happening there.

Since they were already wearing their homespun jerkins and bodices, they decided to make a movie instead and Ember Days is the result. The result is as if the general concept of “fanfiction” became a motion picture.

Hermes has recruited a fallen angel named Azazel who is currently in the form of a snake to aid him in his battle against a Fairie Queen. Astute viewers might notice that all of those concepts come from wildly different religions and mythologies. It’s sort of like Ready Player One for anyone who has ever spelled the word “troop” with a U and an E. Like any legitimate film involving gods and deities, it takes place mostly in wet alleys and unfinished basements. Imagine the baseball scene in Twilight combined with one of those adult Quidditch leagues, but where several of the participants are wearing leather kilts and you’ll get a pretty good idea of what you’re in for.
