DANGER! DANGER! HORRIBLE MOVIE!
When you think of "action star," who do you think of? Arnold Schwarzenegger? Sylvester Stallone? If you said "The guy who played Joey on 'Friends'," then this movie is for you (and get some help)! It's the nobody-asked-for reboot of the 1960's cult TV show, and it holds the distinct honor of knocking "Titanic" off the #1 spot on box office charts after a 15-week reign. So actually, a lot of good came out of this.
Starring William Hurt, Heather Graham, a Jar Jar Binks-ian alien pet monkey (not to be confused with Matt LeBlanc) and a performance by Gary Oldman that Mike Nelson quipped "degraded mankind as a whole."
Get lost with Josh and Jordan as they riff through this sci-fi misstep of a movie!
Don't have the movie? Amazon is selling used copies for around $1. Seriously, something definitely went wrong here.

So so GOOD
Fantastic! Cried I was laughing so hard!
Hilarious
This was my first time watching a riff-trax type film. And I've got to say that it was hilarious! I virtually laughed through the entire movie. What I appreciated most is that there were multiple levels of humor ranging from common pop-culture references to the more cerebral and obscure. The laughs come across machine gun style, so even if you miss some of the references, its about .5 seconds until you're laughing again.
Lost in Space is a truly horrible film, but Josh and Jordan lived up to their slogan about making the unwatchable more laughable.
Well done, and I'm looking forward to the next production.
Get it
This is a great iRiff, its very professional in quality, and as others had mentioned, they did NOT cherry pick their best lines, as there are a LOT of them. The biggest flaw was in fact with the DVD's sound quality. This is one of the earliest DVDs ever released, and I found there is a center speaker channel volume issue with it (at least with stereo sound). This results in background sounds/music being too loud and dialogue being too quiet. I found to fix this in Windows Media Player:
Messing with media player's settings and turning on DRC, the gain, and severely boosting the center speaker volume helps the inconsistent sound issue with the movie a bit.
The iRiff itself has great sound and consistent volume though. I highly recommend this
An Instant Classic.
Keith and I (and my roommate Adam, incidentally) just wrapped up this spectacular first effort from the TreacheRiffers. An amazingly funny first attempt. I was worried that their musical preview (which, incidentally, is the best preview for any iRiff I've seen so far) had cherry-picked all the funniest riffs, but I was sorely mistaken... this riff will have you laughing out loud from start to finish, and all their best stuff didn't even make it into their samples. Also, excellent sound quality considering it's their first attempt (way better than *our* first iRiff, for example). There's some buzzing, but that's really the only issue; the volume remains consistent, and there's no hard-pops or anything that I noticed. Performance-wise, Josh and Jordan knock the ball out of the park. Excellent chemistry, and they have the ability to nail every joke perfectly. The argument at the very end of the riff actually had all three of us laughing so loud we had to turn the riff up so that we could still hear it.
Anyway, definitely a five-star riff, and a must-buy for any iRiff enthusiast. Do yourself a favor and bump it to the top of your list. Looking forward to your next attempt!
(Oh, and my roommate Adam wanted me to tell you that all bits with all the spiders yelling "You shot Bob" are criminally funny. He might be suing you soon... and frankly, I think he has a case.)
Very Well Done
Excellent riff. Lots of good references, great performances. I would have never guessed that this was your first riff.
Great stuff!
You guys did GREAT! Very entertaining and very funny. I found the caliber to be equal to that of Mike Nelson and his crew. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
This Looks Great!
Really really funny sample you guys. I lwas laughing my ass off. Great sound quality and awesome jokes.
I will be buying this when I get the chance, but that means I'll have to go to my grandparents
house and swipe their dvd copy of this god awful film.
Good work, guys!
Very funny.
