After Invasion of Astro Monster, the Godzilla franchise took a turn for the worst at it decided to be more kid friendly, but in an insulting kind of way. Son of Godzilla doesn't feature Godzilla fighting a three headed dragon (Ghidorah) or a cyborg chicken (Gigan), but a bunch of giant puppets that are supposed be spiders and praying mantises. To top it off, we get a wrestling midget in a suit that supposed to be the son of Godzilla (somehow) and the human plot is absolutely absurd with a borderline mad scientist more obsessed with freezing an island than the safety of his men. All of these things make for great (and relatively easy) riffing and so this is my first one. Enjoy!
