It's the holiday season! Time for family, friends, and fellowship -- and for brilliant television. But did you know that Christmas almost didn't come one year? Of course you did! Because it's the story of one of the most popular holiday specials of all time, and it's run consistently every holiday season since 1964.

Rankin/Bass' Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a tradition almost on a par with putting up the tree, passing around presents, and nudging Uncle Jim over onto his side after he's had too much eggnog. This classic tale of outcasts being... well, outcast has entertained children for more than 40 years.

It's almost time the Kids had a crack at it.

The Kids on the Street are out in force for this one, with Glen (aka "The last person in the world to think the elf is named "Herbie" and not "Hermey") joined by Charles Nathan Hagy and Elizabeth Choate Miller to take on a true American classic.

Note: This product contains an mp3 that you can sync up with your own (purchased or rented) DVD or Blu-Ray edition of Rankin/Bass' Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
