Big tech companies nowadays are awfully proud of their so-called “driverless” cars.
Meanwhile, people in the tricycle community are rolling their eyes. They’ve had trikes that are not only driverless but riderless since the '80s. And, much like driverless cars, sometimes they go haywire and run away. Not convinced? All the evidence is right here in The Remarkable Riderless Runaway Tricycle!
The short begins, as so many of them do, with a small boy who resembles Dennis the Menace goofing around in his neighborhood. His tricycle ride is stopped short when he sees something unbelievably exciting: roadside trash! Said trash includes a Trash Kite, which the boy is so enchanted with that he abandons his trike so he can literally go fly a kite.
The tricycle (now Riderless, but not yet Remarkable or Runaway) is soon picked up by some garbagemen and dropped at the dump. But it must be some kind of magical dump, because the tricycle comes to life (Remarkable!) and takes off on an adventure of its own (Runaway!). For some reason this irks the garbagemen, and the local police, and eventually half the town. They all set out to stop this harmless child’s toy in its tracks!
It’s Remarkable, it’s Riderless, it’s Runaway, it’s RiffTrax! Join Mike, Kevin, and Bill for – okay, I’m not typing out the whole title again, you get it.
