The Angry Breed

Johnny is your typical Vietnam vet/aspiring screenwriter going about his day when he spots some Nazi bikers attacking a young woman on the beach. He saves her and does the natural next step: he moves into the luxurious beach house where she lives with her parents. This must be a California thing. Maybe one of those props they all voted on in the '70s? Where did Johnny live before this? Where was he going when he witnessed the attack? Please, it’s only been two minutes, this thing is gonna raise a whole lot more questions before it is through!

As luck would have it, the girl’s father is a major Hollywood bigwig, with the power to get Johnny’s movie made. There’s just one problem: he loathes the hell out of Johnny. We have no idea why. Maybe Johnny’s using the fancy guest soaps that look like seashells that you’re not supposed to use, or perhaps he’s been leaving the screen door open and gnats and the occasional beach Nazi are getting in.

Either way, dad sets up a scheme to literally get Johnny out of the picture and make the movie without him. It is, to put it mildly, overly elaborate. It involves a masquerade ball, a castle, a woman dressed as Sexy Hitler, and a whole lot of acid, or at least, whatever acid was left over after they wrote this movie. 

We’re never filled in what Johnny’s movie is about, but there’s no chance whatsoever it was more incoherent than whatever is going on in this one. Pop a few tabs and join Mike, Kevin, and Bill in the beach elevator for The Angry Breed!
