As dumb and repetitive as these Batman eps were, they quickly became writer favorites just because of the many weird details they chose to include. Chief among them, of course, was arch henchman and all around great guy, Gabe.
A by the numbers sword and sorcery bit made all the better by the performance of Jack Palance. He starts at a “10” and ends up at “skull-shattering quasi-shouting.”
This one cracked us up: a very poorly done slasher film (mercifully without too much slashing) featuring a bunch of dumb kids who, out of nowhere, shout the weirdest most forceful insults at one another.
Bonus: a very strange Shelley Hack reference.

There’s something very funny about the many-decades-old and very genuine kid fighting in this short.
The king of them all, and truly one of my favorite oddities ever put on film. It takes the weirdness of “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny” and says, “Oh, no, we can do waaayyy better than that.”
Because this was a live show and from a technical standpoint was more challenging to write we really put a lot into this one and by gum, I think it turned out well!
