Upsetting Shorts makes its triumphant return with I Like Bikes, a '70s-tastic bicycle safety short that tells the harrowing tale of one young woman's eternal struggle with bikes. From her earliest childhood she has been tormented by bicycles, most notably by Ike, a rhyming cycle made of lasers that cajoles and judges her as his fellow bicycles hurl themselves into her path at inconvenient and potentially life-threatening moments. All so Ike can reassure himself that this unfortunate girl likes him, despite his near-invisibility, his attention deficit disorder, and his tendency to fly off the handle at innocent remarks.
This is only stretching the truth a little bit.

Enjoyable short, well-riffed. The theme of the short, which is repeated over and over, is how much the narrator likes bicycles. But the short is produced for GM, and the message seems to be more about all the many ways things can go wrong when riding a bike. Much if it is reasonably good advice to auto drivers about watching out for cyclists, but it's always that the *bike* is dangerous, and not the car! Very funny short, plenty of good riffing, and all the technical details were done well. Nice job!
The humor was right on!
