Two reasons you should buy this riff: One its slightly cheaper, and two it has "Chad Vader free" writen in nice friendly letters all over it. This is a fun romp at one of Lucas' lesser achievements. This being our first Riff track it didn't take us long to get our rythm. There are alot of obscure references and some jokes that are so wrong that we can't explain futher without being censored. But for now courage

If I may take time to comment on our own achievement, I must say that I truly hope that you all enjoy listening to our hard work as we did making it. Nate and I strive to bring humor into the worst of all of the Star Wars . Of course Lucas directing a movie always leaves a lot to joke about. However I am proud of the effort put forth by my partner in crime and by myself. I hope that the fact that we can still laugh at our jokes after hearing them over and over means that you all can enjoy this too. I also look forward to our next project that should be on it's way soon. Until then have a good laugh at the expense of Hayden Christensen, George Lucas, and the steaming pile of refuse known as Episode 2.
I watched this just yesterday. I don't purchase iRiffs unless there is also an official Rifftrax of the same product. If there is, I'll buy it and add it in to my reauthored DVD. So I got this one.
I liked it. I was pretty surprised at the quality for a first offering. With a movie like this, I was afraid that the riffing would consist mostly of lame "this movie sucks" jokes (like the official Rifftrax did). Nope. While there were a few, they were few and far between, and there were plenty of good, quality riffs. The sound quality was also good. Not quite Rifftrax quality sound (I detected some echo in some areas), but close.
I'd say this is about on par with official Rifftrax, and recommend it.
We appreciate the feedback. We do strive to enjoy the movies that we make fun of. After working out some of the problems with the first riff, I hope to have another one out soon at a better quality.
We are flattered at the comparison of us to the RiffTrax crew. Thank you.

I am asking those who bought this riff to give feedback. Good or bad I would like to hear from you.
what is up the movie guy
Overall I thought it was pretty good. I kind of got the same sense with this one as I did with IceonMars Voyager pilot. The jokes themselves aren't THAT that funny, but the two guys kind of create the atmosphere like I'm watching it with two buddies making fun of the movie, and that makes it more entertaining. I didn't feel there were any missed opportunities and there were enough really funny lines that made me crack up. Now for the negatives....you probably should have a better and more complete description, why don't you have an actual sample?, and what is up with the audio passed 1:30:00? It was pretty good through most of it and then it just started sounding really bad. Also you guys mess up quite a bit of lines and you really should have gone back and fixed them. Overall I rate this a 3.5 but would be a 4 if not for these easily fixable negatives I mentioned. I have a more detailed comment on the "Just finished watching" thread on the iRiff forums if you guys want to check it out.
I thought this was a pretty enjoyable iRiff track. Many of the riffs were entertaining. I do agree that the track is more like watching the film with a few buddies than the collection of laugh-out-loud jokes that many iRiffs try for. I don't mean that as an insult, and some of the riffs were pretty funny (or at least they were to me!). And there is a good variety of riff-types here. Some lines were about silliness in the movie itself, some were references to other movies or songs, and a few were (perhaps obscure) tie-ins to some older MST3k shows. ___p___
The track could use a few more riff lines than it had, and there were some technical issues which detract a bit. The sound is good for much of the track, but then in other places it's echo-y or a little muffled. Also, there were a few riff lines which were clearly stumbled over, which takes the listener "out of the experience" a few times. The low-key sync lines worked better than I expected, although that could be improved on, and I think the track could have used a few additional sync lines in the latter half or maybe last third of the movie. It seemed to me that the riffs were drifting a bit at one point, and it took awhile before I noticed a sync line which confirmed that things were out of sync by a few seconds. ___p___
I consider this a very good first effort, but the track need a few more riffs, somewhat more consistent sound, and fix the flubbed lines when they occur. I rated this as four stars, and would have considered it a "low 5-stars" if it weren't for the various minor technical issues.
Some of you have been bugging me for a preview, and here it is. Sorry it took so long. I'll try not to take so long with the next one.
