Back in 1977, an unknown little indie picture named Star Wars was quietly released. It was a critical and box-office failure and has been criminally ignored ever since. Now it’s time to dust off this obscure gem and give it the attention it deserves.
Blame Society Productions is Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda -- creators of Chad Vader and a slew of other hilarious internet videos. Listen as Matt, Aaron and Chad Vader himself riff on everyone’s favorite sci-fi sacred cow and reveal some startling secrets about the characters: the sickness and depravity of R2-D2, C3P0 and his “special friend”, and Darth Vader’s bizarre Neil Young obsession. Chad Vader also waxes nostalgic about his relationship with his older brother Darth and tells a few stories from his own life.
Oh, and there’s also a bunch of boring “good vs evil” and “hero’s journey” junk too. Enjoy!
This is the new DVD version of the movie with all the totally necessary digital "improvements" George Lucas made.
We'd like to give an extra special thanks Brad Knight, John Lee, and Tona Williams, and Courtney Collins who were integral to the making of this riff. Thanks guys.

Great
I actually felt this one was kind of weak at the beginning. In fact when I started watching this I was debating whether or not I should really watch it then or just do it some other time. Before I could decide though it started getting really good and I had many a good hearty laugh. The only bad point I can give this riff as a whole is that some of the lines seemed too obvious. But that could just be this is Star Wars and all of us are so familiar with the film and have seen it so many times that we've all pretty much thought of everything there is to say about this. There have been so many parodies of it that you guys deserve huge props for coming up with ANYTHING original. I really like how you didn't seem to mention a single thing that the Family Guy Star Wars Special did. This riff is well worth the buy and deserves to be somewhere at the top of the best iRiffs list. I gave this a 4 but would have given it a 4.5 if there was the option. I only consider a 5 one of the better Rifftrax so that's still saying alot.
Luke? Luuuke!...
Y'know, I thought I'd already heard every possible joke that could be made about this classic. But guess what? You guys proved me wrong. Well done! (And a special shout-out to Chad Vader for holding his breath.)
:D
guyyyys awsomme lol i just saw the chad vader after denist at the bottom thingy i dunno wat its called tho lol and yeah i watched all of em and cant wait for the next video :D
Great one!
This is the best riff I've seen so far, and more respectful to the fans than the other one.
The best fan riff I've purchased!
Granted, it's the only fan riff I've purchased... but that isn't really your fault... forget I said anything.
Call me a sucker for silly voices / impersonations, but Greedo, R2D2, Alec Guiness, James Ea... err... Chad Vader... it just all worked. The Greedo/Han sequence is the hardest I've laughed during a riff in a long, long time. A great job all around.
Hats, er, helmets off
...very, very well done.
Please do Episodes V and VI.
If you do, I'll send somebody some money (in Republic Credits, US Dollars, or intergalactic currency of your choice).
Glad you liked it. And
Glad you liked it. And thanks for the old school Fun Rangers reference.
Oh my GOOOOOODDDDD
This was the best riff-watching experience I have had in a long time. My friends that I watched this with concurred. We were in pain. Laughter-pain.
PS
I'm gonna CHARGE into your HOUSE!
Nice job guys
Great mix of esoteric refs and vulgar comments. I’d love to see you guys tackle LOTR, after eps. 5 and 6 of course.
thanks
Thanks Josh. Definitely going to watch Prehistoric Planet soon.
Extremely funny
Well worth the price!

Good evening, Splu and team. Very funny sample clip with Kenobi vs. Vader in that classic scene.
really liked the line, "He's in sneak mode." funny line and funny delivery
I've never ordered a RiffTrax (but observant people may remember that I hold the record for ordering THE most Chad Vader DVSs)
really funny idea to have Chad commenting on his "big brother" in ther first three STAR WARS movies

Great riff!
Watched it today and I have to say that I had many laugh out loud moments (as my wife can attest). Please do the other two Star Wars movies and make the circle truly complete. Hearing Chad sing has to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
Excellent riff.
I always knew R2 was a filthy little droid. Whoooooores!
Fantastic
This riff had me in stitches. Absolutely hilarious.

Haha, that's true. I never realized it. Kind of makes sense that he would I guess.

R2D2 sounds a lot like Gonzo.
