Part of the Lost City iRiffs Crossover Project.
Ronin Fox takes on "Doomed" the fourth chapter in this gripping tale of kidnapping, betrayal, betrayal by kidnappers, kidnapping from betrayers, betraying kidnappers by kidnapping already kidnapped victims, and of course gigantic African stereotypes. (Gigantic both literally and figuratively)
A scientist is tied to a horrific deathtrap, a mad man makes vague threats, a slave trader acts pushy, and our heroes don't do much of anything beyond throwing the hammiest punches to be captured on camera until the rise of Adam West's tv career...in other words the same things you'll see in every single sci-fi movie serial ever made!

I liked this riff a lot! (again, I am slightly biased) but I Ronin kicks things up a notch with his performance and riffs. This whole collaboration is turning out to be super awesome! Five Stars!
So episode 3 was people running around in corridors for 15 minutes; episode 4 is people running around a little village for 15 minutes. Still, very funny and full of some innovative moments (the added "gibberish subtitles" are a stroke of genius--well, OK, maybe that's a bit much. Like, Neils Bohr discovering the atom or whatever is maybe more "a stroke of genius." But it was a really good idea that worked nicely). My favorite gag was either that "Yup" is gibberish for "Yes," and "You're so dumb" / 'I bet you think this song is about you.

Another great riff from the project. Loved the Gibberish to english subtitles although the picture was a little blocky when watching full screen (and I mean compared to the other episodes). I liked the Dread Pirate Roberts and Edward Scissorhands jokes. Now on to chapter 5.
