Freddy Krueger is back, and he's looking to wipe out the last of the Elm Street children. Thus the smart and conscientious parents of the nieghborhood have gathered those children together into one place so Freddy doesn't have to wear himself out.
Yes, instead of having to stalk his way through a dreamworld of suburban houses, now Freddy gets to stroll through hallways of a nuthouse. It would almost be too easy, except for one thing. Nancy's back, and this time she's...well she's pretty much the same except for poofier hair. Also she knows the secret to defeating Freddy is teamwork...though that's not at all how she defeated him before.
Armed with a collection of questionable to pointless superpowers, the crazies of Westin Hills Mental Institution fight for thier lives against an evil that just refuses to stay dead.
Ronin Fox and Anais take on riffing A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: DREEEEEAM WARIAAAAAAHS (Also known to some horror fans as "A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: At least it isn't A Nightmare on Elm Street 2") a movie with a lot of simple morals. 1. Never have a hobby, or it will kill you 2. The dumber you dress the easier to you die. 3. The lamer your powers the more useful they inexplicably will become. 4. There is no such thing as a non-alcoholic parent. 5. And of course, life goes better with the music of DOKKEN!
This film is RATED R and the riff has been made to match. If you are offended by references to violence, adult themes, and any of the words on George Carlin's 7 words you can't say of television list...well then what the heck are you doing even contemplating watching this movie for?

Freddy continues to get the riffing he so richly deserves in another fine outing by Ronin Fox Trax.
Ronin and Anais are a excellent team - great chemistry and lots of energy.
If you haven't seen any Nightmare of Elm Street riffs, get the box set (or the 4-packs at Target) and get them all. You won't be disappointed.
With the quaility of the Freddy movies going down with each one, I am impressed they have decided to do ALL of them.
Another really solid effort. Several laugh out loud moments and the out takes at the end are great.
I really think this is your best riff so far, there's more improv-y tangent-y bits, I thought Anis's somewhat manic cheeryness worked really well with the movie, mamushka & Malaysia callbacks, hair metal shadow, and "blowjob lessons" made me spit through my nose.
Bravo Sir.
Ronin and Anais make a wonderful team. A little freaked out we both made Admiral Ackbar jokes in our lastest tracks without even knowing it. Anais's TO DEATH rants and the sink puns were our favorites. By the way, if you didn’t get that finger back on my wife could always use a snack. ;)
Two of these in one night? Well, they're helping me get through some rough work I have to do, and they're certainly doing that well. It's hard to say what seems so much better about this one than the other two: the chemistry of the riffers is certainly a high point (you both actually seemed, well, excited to be doing this one, despite the comments), the writing (it feels different on this one...as was mentioned, it feels more off-the-cuff, and yet more tightly written), or something else indefinable. The only thing I really found distracting was dialogue overrun. While I did love all the references (especially a great Impossible Mission reference that I hope more than me and 12 other people got), dialogue overrun for me personally is one of those things I can't stand, even when the jokes are good (I've done it myself, and I kick myself every time I can't bring myself to cut it). It just struck me since it happens so infrequently on the others, and here nearly every 'hallway' moment of the film was chock full of banter. But hey, I still think they're getting better by leaps and bounds with every release. And wow, 20 minutes worth of outtakes...some of them quite informative.
I GREATLY enjoyed this iriff! Ronin and Anais have amazing chemistry and sound like they are having a ball making this which is always a plus. As some of the other comments have said this iriff has a great natural feel (alot like the old MST episodes, we know it's scripted but comes across feeling like it's all improv). I loved the variety of riffs in this.... very fun all around!
Keep up the great work.
Jam-packed with riffs! Great job and loved the outtakes...looking forward to part 4 (well, the riff of part 4...not really the movie part 4)
While I do miss the riffing talents of Draccu, these two have great chemistry together. This riff is on par with Masters of the Universe with very good writing, excellent performances and great sound quality. Good joke density with zero dead spots which is an improvement over the first two Nightmare riffs. This riff is consistently funny; I never lost interest and laughed out loud numerous times. The running "RATED R" gag is great, especially when Anais attempts to steal the joke from Ronin.
Part III seems like a better movie than the first two, yet it has this really goofy quality to it that the riffers make good use of. Plenty of great pop culture references. It helps if you watch the first two Nightmares because there are some hilarious callbacks to the previous two installments, especially Moist Boy from Part II. I’m really looking forward to Part IV. Please bring back Draccu if at all possible!!!
Favorite laugh-out-loud moments:
Last house on the desk riff.
Sister Potato Chip riff.
Giant remote control riff.
Bourbon hose!
STD count.
Terence Howard riff.
For what it's worth, I definitely recommend this iRiff. The laughs-a-plenty will not disappoint.
Glad you're enjoying the Nightmare riffs, they've been great to make. Nightmare 4 is going to be coming soon. It won't feature Draacu, but if all goes as planned he will return for at least one more Nightmare riff, possibly on Freddy's Dead.
