Jessie is your average everyday loner...well okay so he's really a whiney little wimp. He's manly enough to have a girlfriend though, even though he seemingly would rather leave her alone and sneak into his gym parter's bedroom.
Oh, and he's killing people.
So what does a wimpy, sexually indecisive, annoying teenage murderer have to do with Freddy Kreuger? Good question, we'll get back to that...maybe.
My good friend "Nykk" joins me on this Ronin Fox Trax/Nykkriffs coproduction on the movie that started the Nightmare on Elm Street tradition of films that are only 1/800 as interesting as their posters.

This has some great lines, I really enjoyed both A Nightmare on Elm Street's by Ronin Fox, be sure to check them out.
While Nightmare 1 is a good movie with some great jokes, Nightmare 2 is the kind of piece of s--t made for riffing. Ronin's jokes work wonders throughout the movie, which my male bff noted has as much bare chested males as the the first one had bare chested females. If that isn't proof this movie deserves to be riffed, I don't know what is. Ronin's jokes are, as always, delivered professionally and I have found myself referencing the riffs in real life. Awesome, Awesome stuff!
this is a movie that was meant to be riffed...i dont know how this could have been considered scary back in the day...
While this one has a lot more going for it than the riff of Nightmare 1 (better pacing, better sound, overall better jokes, and even the inclusion of bloopers at the end made it fun, especially the Nixon segment), it didn't have a line to top my favorite segment from that riff ("Wait, what, what is this?"). That doesn't mean there weren't plenty of tries to replace it (and many almost succeeded. Overall, fun, and definitely worth the purchase.
Very funny - good job:-)
This is a very solid riff. It has a different feel than the first Nightmare largely because Nykk steps in for Draccu on this one. While I definitely miss Draccu’s theatrics, these two riffers create a relaxed, conversational style that makes it work. Ronin has stepped up his game as far as performance goes and he does a good job making up for Draccu’s missing personality.
This movie is absolutely horrible; Freddy’s barely in it and there are quite a few slow sections. The riffers do a good job of filling the gaps between dialog and action. They also take much-deserved shots at the aforementioned slow spots and lack of Freddy. I especially liked the two running gags that span the entire movie: the protagonist’s constant dampness and the constant “orientation” speculation. I can’t get enough of the riffs pointing out that movie clearly doesn’t take place in the Midwest. Again, I did miss the presence of Draccu, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Favorite laugh-out-loud moments:
“Bus-henge!”
The caricature artist riff. (Laughed my ass off!)
“He died as he lived.”
“Indiana!!!”
The off-balance washing machine riff.
For what it's worth, I definitely recommend this iRiff.
