Note: This is a video with a riff audio track added.
What happens when Mister Willis, a poor sap with no neck, can't find the right words to say at a city council meeting? Sure, he becomes the laughing stock of the community, but there's more. As a nameless narrator lurks in the shadows, Willis' whisper thin son (who frighteningly looks like Jimmy Fallon) gives him tips on building his vocabulary. Famed voice actor Mel Blanc's spirit even drops by to take possession of Mister Willis. It's fun for the whole family if the paint has finished drying.
It should also be noted that no dictionaries were injured during the making of this film.

Hypnofat
Terrifying yet hypnotic.... Just what we were going for with that character. At least you haven't seen the person Fatty was based upon. She made Elvis on his worst days look like Kate freakin' Moss *shiver of horror*. I'm working on trying to put more jokes and voices in the next Riff Vault, which will be a full length film. Thanks for commenting.

No fat chicks.
Good first riff, but that 3D opening was bizarre and disturbing (mainly just the fat lady with the sunken area...which was terrifying yet strangely hypnotizing). It needed a bit more work (ie. more jokes) but you did voices and a lot of it was very funny. It was a great short to work from, too.
The chickens sent me....
...because they were afraid I'd eat them. Thank you for your kind words. You honor me with them. I'm just doing this because I enjoy it. You are a true professional, and I can't wait for your next riff.

Professionally Hilarious
Real nice riff. Professional, well made, funny. In fact, too funny. Who sent you? WHO SENT YOU?!
Let's hope...
your sister doesn't lay an egg from laughing too hard. Thanks for commenting.

MORE! MORE! MORE! :))))))))
Ya'll had me laughin' my big black a$$ off!
I even bought one for my sista, I can hear her squawk like a chicken from her bedroom :D
You got for sure us as fans, keep going!

Well...
GregMcduck, Sorry you didn't like the first Riff Vault. I'll work harder on the next one. Thanks for commenting.
RobMichel, Thank you for your kind words, which were sufficient and very well written. I don't know when another short will be in the Riff Vault. I'm currently working on a full length feature film for the next episode, but I'll be searching more shorts sometime in the future.

AUGH! BURN IT WITH FIRE!
The CGI opening SCARES THE S*** OUT ME! Sadly, it seems more work went into the CGI then the actual riffing. There are a few good moments, but most of the jokes are obvious. Could use another writer. Favorite Riff: "He's sitting like Captain Kirk!"
Great job
I laughed my ass off at the sitting like Kirk comment. I would be more descriptive if only my knowing of words were more good. I need to learn to know more words.
Anyway great short. I look forward to more shorts.
It'll Be Dark Soon...
Thanks a lot, Torgoknees. I'm happy we could put a smile on your face. The animation was done by my wife to give the first episode something extra. There will be more animated intros in future Riff Vault projects in an effort to entertain before and after each film. Thanks for watching my first iRiff.

Wigged fun
The short was hilarious! Thank you, I had a bad day and you made me laugh a lot.
Excellent job, great timing on the jokes and even an extra animation in the middle, I can't ask for more!
Then, between you and the monkey, even this comments page put a smile on my face.
Now I must go take care of the place while the Master is away.

Our wigs...
Are still more realistic than the one worn by Shatner, and mine's made of plastix LOL Yours is way more elegant though. Mine just makes my avatar look taller.

i see your wig and i raise you...
ha! i threw on my best wig to even things out. now where do we go with this thing? note: bewigged monkey image subject to change. once it does, this post is no longer valid. thank you....monkey................[ok, i finally had to take off my wig - it was getting itchy. therefore, the first part of this post will no longer make sense. btw JHL Keeper of the RV - your comment re: your wig, "Mine just makes my avatar look taller," cracks me up everytime i read it. cheers!....monkey]
Wow
This is probably the first time a monkey has been thanked by a bewigged cat. LOL This is the first time I've done one of these for others to see. I ofter riff when my wife and I are watching something. In fact, she encouraged me to try doing iRiffs. I'm glad she did because I had fun. I'm writing for another iRiff and hope to do more. I think this short was geared toward neckless people who spoke like a manure salesman with a mouth full of samples. Thank you again for the kind words.

Riff-O-Riffic
that was really good. it's hard to believe it was your first riff attempt. i would definitely buy your iriffs again. btw, i wonder who this short was aimed at...kids, so that they wouldn't grow into stupid middle-aged men who can't talk good [sic]. or was it shown in corporate offices in one of those 'We Have to Show This to Everyone - But You Know Who You Are' schemes. like when there's one or two people at work who need to use (more) deodorant - so the entire office has to go to a 'hygiene seminar'. anyway, great job and i'm looking forward to hearing more from you....monkey
Thank you
Thank you for your kind comments. This was my first attempt at riffing a film, and I just wanted to have fun doing it. I'm happy I could make you laugh.

Very funny!
Thank you for this short, I laughed loud with the man and his "vocabulary troubles" :D
You did a very good job and I like the animations with the funny cat that you put as an intro and credits.
Very original, 5 stars from me and I hope to see more iRiffs from you.
