QUIPTRACKS - VAN HELSING

iRIFF BY: QuipTracks  (Created February 6, 2009)

The year is allegedly 1888. The Vatican's army of Buddhists, Muslims, and toddling friars with hat hair work tirelessly to arm the great monster hunter Wolverine with the most ridiculous and inane weapons known to man, so that he might fail to hit large targets with the utmost speed and accuracy, picking up baronesses in tight corsets along the way. You'll gasp as Dracula chews more scenery than you could fit in Wyoming. You'll scream as the Frankenstein Monster relays life lessons about tolerance and acceptance. You'll yawn and scratch you unmentionables as Kate Beckinsale expands her acting repertoire to include vampire *hunters* (she wouldn't want to be pigeonholed). And you'll snack as the movie becomes tedious and you wander into the kitchen for a sandwich.

But never fear! QuipTracks makes this otherwise painful sack of crap into a sack of something awesome...like bacon or something.

Features the voices of: Tristan, Tracy and Kevin

This is an iRiff!
What are iRiffs?

File naming

Liked the track, but could you re-name the file to be more descriptive? Right now, its called qt000006.mp3 / qt000006P.mp3. The rest of my riff purchases are a bit more descriptive in their filename (for example, they could be renamed to Quiptracks_Van_Helsing.mp3 / Quiptracks_Van_Helsing_PAL.mp3

These guys are the Pun Masters. Seriously.

First, as my subject line suggests, I'm here to declare Quiptracks the masters of great puns. Anyone who is a fan of puns will never be let down by any of their riffs. This riff introduces a Punometer that goes crazy when the guys make a pun. Which, of course, incites them to make more puns. Did I say pun enough?

Any way, I remember seeing this movie in theaters and thinking how ridiculous it was with its wacky physics and characters who JUST WOULDN'T DIE (except when they land on soft objects such as a couch). Kevin, Tracy and Tristan point out and hilariously ridicule all the idiotic moments (and the movie is practically one long idiotic moment) and there is never a lull with this riff despite the movie being so dull.

I loved the line about Van Helsing searching for his badminton set as I do that just about every time the weather is good. Damnit, I know I have one!

Masterfully done.

I would give five stars for the first ten minutes alone, since I nearly died laughing. But as this kept going, I still think it was creative, funny, and overall more fun than a barrel of vampire extinguishers. I'm just surprised I didn't rate this one sooner.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Just finished watching this.

That was HILARIOUS.

I dont know how you can possibly make a shitty movie when you have Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein's Monster (and Frankenstein), Dr, Jekyll, a good looking charasmatic leading man, a good looking charasmatic leading lady, the vatican having special ops...... BUT MAN DID THEY.

The horrible Euro overacting vampires gave me a headache. And all the CGI silliness, the flying around viloating all laws of pysics........

The Riff was very funny, full of good off the wall quips (e.g. "the oil painting paparatzi") and you gave me a reason to watch my DVD again.

thank you rosnor2000

thanks rosnor2000, that was, indeed, a good answer to my question. i knew there had to be something that i was missing. also, thank you for being so polite about it [that may have sounded sarcastic - but it wasn't :D). i look forward to watching this riffing. ~~~monkey.......

oh, for fun, i recently found this 'crow emoticon'. i originally found it years ago and then i lost it and did not possess the technology to recreate it. so, without further adieu, here it is #(:)0

Sorry about the wait!

Yes, this riff is available on our site, like rosnor2000 said, and has been out for a long time. I'm sorry that it's been "coming soon" for so long. We're waiting for a technical problem to be fixed.

good answer to your question

They've been selling this riff on their own personal site for a while now. MI-2 is actually a much newer riff than this one.

stupid question...

how can this iRiff have 3 ratings when it isn't even available yet? i'm sure there's a very logical explanation and that it's a fine riff...but please to 'splain this to me. thank you, and i look forward to watching a riff that has 5 stars before release - it's gotta be a helluva an iRiff. btw, this is a serious question.
