The team that brings you QuipTracks breaks onto the public domain scene with QuipTracks: The Show!—a near half hour of old-fashioned riffing complete with video (including host segments)! No syncing necessary!
Episode 101 – Rocky Jones Space Ranger in "Escape Into Space"
Join Rocky Jones and his obnoxious sidekick, Winky, as they pursue Truck Harman, a traffiker of the "tarantula weed," who has, in fact, escaped into space.
Can they catch up to Truck before he smokes all his "tarantula weed"? Will they be able to find a loophole in the law so that they can charge him for the crimes he already confessed to? And what of Truck Harman's smaller cousin, Go-cart Harman? All will be made clear (and made fun of) in QuipTracks: The Show!'s first victim—Escape Into Space!
Many full-length riffs are also available at www.quiptracks.com.

Ah! I have nothing clever to say here except QuipTracks rocks!
I loved that this was pre-synced so I didn't have to procure the movie/show! I own all the movies that QuipTracks have riffed (including The Happening- see their website) because I like to rewatch the riffs every once in awhile. They are all hysterically funny and worth every cent including the cost of owning several very, very bad movies.
I've sung QuipTracks praises on all their other Rifftrax offerings and everything I've said still holds up here. This doofy show was great choice to riff; there was a lot to work with. I've always enjoyed host segments also, so no complaints from me there. Tracy and Tristan did a great job with them. I loved Tracy as the Time Pharaoh and I laughed through the whole end segment. As always with QuipTracks, the riffs were hilarious. I'm going to have to agree with and quote Michael from Ice on Mars here because he said it so well: "I think they have a really good grasp on letting some ridiculous things go at the time and then calling back to them because they trust the audience will have noticed how silly the events were, which is a hard skill to master." Tracy and Tristan have great charisma and chemistry and it's always fun to hear their riffs.
Seriously, guys, if you are still reading this review I urge you to stop and just go on and buy this. And, I urge you check out their other riffs, here and on their website. I promise you will not be disappointed. If you've never heard a QuipTracks production before "The Show!" is a good start.
Oh, and great job with the theme music and opening! It's seriously awesome.
You made me comment you...
...I didn't wanna do it, I didn't wanna do it... (Sing along now!)
You guys deserve comments galore for this! It's one of the funniest videos I've purchased on here, and that's including all the RiffTrax stuff! The riffing, the host segments, even the theme music was SWEET! Beeper might need some botox though.
Time Pharaoh has all the makings of "recurring-character-with-memorable-catch-phrase" syndrome, which can be horrifying at times, but might be a good thing in this case, I think. (Eat your heart out, Torgo!)
Winky, oh Winky
Video and commentary together..... good idea.
Although I generally do not care for "host segments", this one was good. I liked the intro video and music you picked and you avoided the cardinal sin of most host segments...... you did not carry it on too long. Unless you are George Carlin, host segments need to be short and to the point, and your was. Loved the Time Pharoh outfit.
The riff itself was another great effort and the riffing and the show volume were well matched.
Highly recommended.
P.S. What was the deal with the chick in the cape?
I concur--quality abounds
Well, I feel a bit silly adding a comment since there are comments GALORE here, but I try to make it a point to feedback/rate everything I've gotten and enjoyed, or at least a good portion of them, especially if I haven't commented on the group/person before. So I'll say this: Even though I haven't been really drawn in by most of their samples (exception: MI:2), I decided, what the hell, for a buck it's worth a shot to give QuipTracks a try because a lot of people seem to dig them. And I think listening to a whole riff really shows that sometimes a sample just isn't the best way to showcase a group's talents. These guys have great chemistry, and play off each other really well. The humor comes mostly from the build along the way, I think. For instance, probably my favorite line was the repeated "the suitcases!" gag because I thought Tracy's voice was especially appropriate for all the 'I'm crazy!' sort of gags (there were a couple others, though now I'm blanking), but it's not really something that would sample well; it's all in the buildup and delivery. I think they have a really good grasp on letting some ridiculous things go at the time and then calling back to them because they trust the audience will have noticed how silly the events were, which is a hard skill to master. .................................................................................................................................................................................................
I'm completely baffled by people saying they felt the opening and ending had no reason for being there or whatever. For my money, it served its purpose: putting faces to the names (which is something we're definitely planning on doing soon--I honestly thought our faces on the poster would be enough, but then I started realizing how much that DOESN'T work for me with other people's stuff, so....), and adding a couple of jokes. Beyond that, what do you need? I commend ICWXP heartily for their shockingly detailed backstory, but do I honestly care? Not really. Hell, I think the weakest part of Cinematic Titanic is their fictional raison d'etre. If you're going to make a story or whatever, that's cool, but why can't it just be a couple of guys watching a movie? (It works for pretty much ALL the Rifftrax, so why not others?) ......................................................................................................................................................................................................
Fun stuff and well worth a buck. .....................................................................................................................................................................................................

These guys are naturals.
This is truely MST3K worthy. The production has the Best Brains DIY-feel (maybe KTMA-era, but still charming).
Great 1st Ep
Grading on a curve, I gave this 5 stars, seeing as it is their first try at a full up show. Even without the curve, this is a solid 4 star effort. The riffs are very funny, the timing great. The skits were fun, albeit extremely low production quality.
Well plotted!
While I'm more a fan of the newer, "non-host-segment" style of riffing that concentrates more on the jokes, I enjoyed this short very much, and definitely look forward to more shorts from Quiptracks!
Nicely done! Looking forward
Nicely done! Looking forward to the next episode!
Great work
Great work guys. Interesting intro and outro for it too. The riff itself is amazing, you guys made it really feel like MST3k.
Awesome!
God, I love you guys. A terrific half hour, I don't think I ever stopped laughing. The lack of a plot for the host segments don't really bother me, if you just keep goofing off I'll be happy. Where'd you get all the neat-o equipment?
Hilarious!
Great job guys!
Very funny
Very funny riffing, as I've come to expect from Quiptracks.
Yeah, very good.
I loved it. Very MST3Kesque (Remember Manhunt in Space?) Especially the final sketch, I was in stitches. Can't wait for more.
Very good!
Super job on the show guys. Very funny as always.
