NOTE - This is an improvised riff on the NTSC version of the Dario Argento version of the Phantom of the Opera starring Julian Sands. It was done over Skype so apologies for any occasional audio glitches! Every attempt has been made to ensure the file syncs with the NTSC version, a PAL edition will be coming soon.
This IRiff is aimed at fans of Phantom Reviews and Phantom of the Opera movies in general, not for fans of Dario Argentos other excellent work.

In the past, I had no intention to watch this film - based on the numerous reports on it being disgustingly bad. I felt that it was prime material to be riffed. Imagine my surprise - when I found out that this film had been riffed on! I had heard of the PhantomReviewer via his appearances on YouTube and on BlogTalkRadio and I knew he would bring the criticism this film was worthy of. He never failed to disappoint! The commentary is hilarious and his banter with Biskuits throughout the film made the film actually tolerable to watch - well, for the most part. There are still a few scenes where even they were grossed out by it, but overall - its one of the best fan-based commentaries I have ever heard. Well done, I hope that the PhantomReviewer will do another movie riff soon!
