Some election day in the future, you may be faced with a dire choice. You can choose the party of capitalist exploitation or the party of Communist house-stealing. This short is unflinching in its portrayal of Americans who have made the wrong choice. By choosing poorly, they found themselves facing down tubby truck drivers and iron-fisted party leaders who resemble a human version of Droopy. By choosing poorly, they lost their hopes of keeping their dead-end jobs and losing money in a risky stock market. The original video for this short is a pretty heavy-handed warning on the dangers of socialism. It's funny for being heavy-handed, and the "Eagle Beagle and Seagull" do a good job of adding riffs to it. On the other hand, some of riffs they do tie the heavy-handed warnings to current-day events (such as the US government bailing out AIG), and in that sense it's a little scarier than most shorts. ___p___ The group does a good job of riffing the video, starting with the listing of actors at the start of the video. There are enough laughs that I'll give it a 5-star rating.
