Q: What is an iRiff?
A: An iRiff is a home-made audio commentary that you can upload to the RiffTrax Store and sell to our thousands of daily visitors. You'll make 50% of the net revenue your iRiff generates, paid in quarterly installments on balances over $25.
Q: What do the different formats, NTSC and PAL, mean?
A: The short answer is that NTSC files are for people in North America, including the United States and Canada. PAL files are for users in regions other than Region 1, such as the United Kingdom and Australia. The long answer has to do with technical specifications of each format. NTSC and PAL have different framerates - meaning a PAL video actually is a bit faster than its NTSC counterpart, making it somewhat shorter. It's difficult to notice unless you have two versions of the same movie (or audio file) playing side-by-side; but eventually you'll notice the PAL version being ahead of the NTSC version. Sometimes the difference is as much as a few minutes! If you find that your mp3 file is constantly out of sync with the DVD you're watching, first make sure that you've downloaded the correct format of mp3 (NTSC for Region 1, PAL for elsewhere) and then check other things, such as the DVD version (Collector's Edition, Director's Cut, etc.) is correct for that mp3 file. This really made me think....
I never realized how similar Horatio from CSI Miami is to Friday from Dragnet. Deadpan cheese with one-liners that
would make Bob Hope weep. The Daredevil joke had me hurting and then the Rick Astley skit was just the best.

Some serious talent there, both in writing and performing. Toothbrushing nearly killed us. I won't give it away, but the part with the, um... singing... very inspired.
Your levels seemed a bit high compared to the source material, but maybe you've resolved that since your first attempt.

I'll agree with a little bit sparse, but the tooth-brushing scene had us damn near peeing ourselves as we watched it. Buenas noches- overall good stuff- the commercials made it for me. The denture commercial was amazing. I liked how you guys made jokes/comments linking the show back to the funny commercials. Keep the commentary going to fill in the dead spots... Dragnet.... can sometimes drag... I suggest making your own commentary more of a focus than the actual dialogue...

Commercials!
OK stuff, but with a bit too much dead spots. The best parts were the commercials (The Chevrolet commercial was insane). Also, the riff audio is too soft and it's hard to hear sometimes over the show. Favorite riff: "Elvis Presley's sexy swiveling hips."

Looks like something happened during the transcoding process. I checked the .mov file that I upped and it's ok, but sure enough there's no riffs on the .avi. I will PM you when I hear anything. I'm really sorry about that!

hello there riffer! i just downloaded this and there is no riff - just dragnet. don't get me wrong, i like dragnet. a lot. but i needs me a riff-fix stat. just thought i'd let you know and i don't know how to contact you privately. i'm looking forward to watching one of my all-time fav shows riffed.
