Remember the days when you were clean?  So does the Navy.  A powerful and metallic gray Navy with massive fleets of battleships and carriers.  You may say, "That's great, but are the bathrooms clean?"  So begins the saga of men and machines and water closets.  So let's take a look behind the scenes at the real warriors of onboard tidiness.  These are the true men and occasional stow-away midget who's efforts transformed the Navy from brave battleships to wussy dinghies.  Watch and be cleansed!

Awesome! Thank you

I always appreciate comments and this is really great. The compliments are much appreciated. I always like constructive criticism and am continuing to work on the audio issues. And thanks for letting me know about being more lively. I'm going to bump that up a couple of notches on my next few riffs. Thanks again!

Well worth it!

I have trouble getting into solo-riffs, even the ones Mike Nelson has done, so a solo riff will never be my favorite riff ever. But as far as solo riffs go, this is one to check out. Good voice quality and enough variation to keep it from just sounding monotone, and a couiple laugh-out-loud moments (my favorite riff is "This is too delicious to store above a pipe" for reasons I can't quite explain). On the technical side: the riff is pretty buzzy all the way through, though not so much that it's distracting. Most of my critiques of this riff are just my personal preference: it's not as lively as I'd like (which is why I prefer multiple riffers, because then they can play off each other), and there are a couple of scenes where my attention was starting to wander. Overall, though, I was satisfied. If you're going to do a solo-riff, this is how to do it. Of course, I think you'd be even better if you added another riffer, but all in all this is worth checking out.
