Yup, I've taken a little time off, but I'm back with something I've always wanted to riff on; Classic Commercials! In this first set, I've decided upon commercials that deal with hygiene. From face-slicing electric razors to the birth of NyQuil to the greatest aphrodisiac of all time; toothpaste, they're all here! That's more than can be said of some of the companies featured. Being the strapping young lad that I am, I admit ignorance concerning "Ozon Hairspray" which "makes hair feel like hair." The hell? Anyway, join "Just Andrew" as we stroll down memory lane, wondering how many active ingredients featured are now deemed illegal rodent poisons.

Can't wait for the next volume!
A great series of shorts, with some truly laugh-out-loud moments (the kissing scene in the toothpaste commercial slays me every time I've watched it!) I look forward to more!
It was fun to see this collection of nine old commercials, with a few quick riffs for each. Funny to see the electric shaver for a peach and for a brush. I wonder if the advertiser has ever seen a peach before it's ripe, when it can be pretty rock-hard. And the toothpaste "accepted by more dentists", with the riff "Not liked, just accepted". That commercial included a teenager who was WAAAY too excited about managing to shoot an arrow into a target! ___p___
I am a little curious why JustAndrew would have thought about using a handful of facial tissues to pad a bra...
Tissues used to pad a bra? Ummm, I, er, you see.... LOOK OVER THERE!! (Running)

Alert fan Garance informed me that the man in the Nyquil commercial is a famous actor. After MUCH brain poking, I realized that it's none other than M. Emmet Walsh!!! You may have seen him in "Bladerunner" (for the cultured), "Missing in Action" (for the manly) and "Harry and the Hendersens (for those of us not ashamed to love that movie)!!
Andrew (yay!)
I truly enjoyed this collection, it had a nice selection of commercials and the riffing was hilarious. I also want to second what others have said about the toothpaste commercial, it's lol funny.
