Once in every generation comes that rare movie which forever more defines that group's childhood. For the Japanese it was Kimba the White Lion. Unfortunately, those of us in America were stuck with the Lion King. Join the future stars of Broadway's the Producers, the voice of Darth Vader and, of course, the 3rd villain in the Die Hard series for a musical romp* through the film that paved the way for High School Musical 2.

The team from the ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com mixes humorous nostalgia, irreverant observation, a touch of homage to classic MST3K and some down-right mean spirited jokes to take you through this little adventure that will have you wondering, just what the heck does "Hakuna Matata" really mean?

* Word has reached us this isn't so much a romp as it is a musical death-march through Elton John & Tim Rice's nightmares.

I was worried about this one because A: it's an animated movie, and B: it's a beloved Disney Classic. But just one minute into this riff I was completely hooked. For years I have been sharing with joy with my childrean all that is cool, from Nintendo NES games to MST3K. But the guy with glasses is a bit that my youngest shared with me and his older siblings. Must give credit where credit is due. My fave by him is the good son. Hilarious! He could swear less, not necessary to get the laughs. But still, great!

I didn't know who/what thatguywiththeglasses was but I finally found out quite by accident and watched a ton of nostalgia critic and all the ask that guy episodes and I love it. I checked out this riff and loved it too. This is the only iRiff I've felt like watching again right after finishing it because there was so much funny. I've enjoyed other iRiffs but none of them got me going like this one. This is what a 5/5 really is. This makes RiffRafftheater seem kind of....meh. Best part hands down.......Robin Williams!!!!!!!

Ok, firstly, I'm not the one to be called a furry since you're the one with the avatar that shows an anime anthro. Secondly, Simba's father was killed, he was blamed for murder, and his life was changed. I'd like to see you go through the same shit that he goes through before calling him a spoiled brat. Plus, if Timon and Pumbaa weren't idiots, chances are there wouldn't be any characters for comedy like other films. Lastly, you don't know shit about what's the raping of Disney. You're excuses on this film are extremely poor. If you think this is bad, go rot your mind on Chicken Little. The characters were terrible, the storyline was filled with clichés, and the movie itself was hypocritical by the introduction. And ever since that movie was released, the company has made movies that were unoriginal like High School Musical, Hanna Montana, and the whoring of Pixar releases. I'd like to see you show me a better Disney film. As I said before, keep your opinions to yourself. If you don't like the movie, that's fine, but it's NOT the worst Disney film. No That movie is a raping of anything disney. It's main character is a whiny spoiled brat who never changes, Timon and pumbaa are just idiots, the only good thing about that movie is the animation.

Since this is defiantly the most overrated Disney film, I can't wait to hear Doug and the gang rip it apart. I'll never truly understood the obsession with Disney. They were the blandest animation studio in the golden age, yet some people praise them for showing really emotion (which they never did). Everything about Disney screams "FAKE." Sure, Fantasia is great, but still. Looks like I'm gonna have to bust out my old VHS for this baby. I actually haven't seen this movie in a few years. I remember as a kid thinking it was kinda dull.

The Lion King is NOT the worse Disney film ever made. It's actually a perfect example of what should be shown from that company, instead of lousy written CGI films today. It's Chicken Little that's the worse. If that movie's not your cup of tea, then at least show some concern to keep your opinions to yourself.

Jesus H. tap dancing Christ on a pogo stick, I have died and gone to heaven. there is no way both of my two favorite things on the internet could be rolled into one. Both TGWTG and Rifftrax all rolled into one...not only that, a riffing on quite possibly the worst Disney movie ever made...seriously i pinched myself to see if I was not dreaming.

I'm a big fan of ThatGuyWithTheGlasses, so I was very excited when I saw this. The riffing is great, for the most part. It slows down a bit after the first (hilarious) 10 minutes, but it certainly never drags. It was a lot of fun.

Great riff. Been watching TGWTG for a while and when I saw this it was an instant buy. Great jokes abound in this riff. Only complaint is that it has some bad audio at times. Some of the riffs sound like they were recorded from across the room. But despite this minor complaint it is still hysterical! 5/5. Mike Please bring in Doug for a real rifftrax!
