"I reject your reality and substitute my own!"

This is the first of our FilmRoasters Uncut series; the commentary track is entirely improv and none of us had ever seen or heard of this movie before. Part of a small genre of movies brought to you by 80's visionary Charles Band, it showcases through the eyes of no less than seven directors the semi-delusional adventures of a nerdy programmer who uses his self-created technology to steal from banks and calculate boring marriage statistics. Presumably as punishment, Satan kidnaps him and challenges him to the worst LARP ever concocted.

The Dungeonmaster is kind of a hard movie to find; never released on DVD, the best way to get it is through Netflix streaming, and this audio commentary will synch up with that just fine. You can also still buy it on VHS.

Note: We had a moment of technical difficulty during the recording where the audio mysteriously vanished. The gap is only four minutes long and about 20 minutes into the movie. Feel free to use that space to try out your own riffs!

Possibly one of, if not THE, funniest things i have EVER seen my life. These uncut riffs are phenomenal!! Please, PLEASE make more.

That's a hell of a compliment! Thanks so much. We're going to be much more prolific in 2012, with hopefully a new release every month.

Although I had to go through some trouble to recieving the movie so I can play the riff with it, (I live in the UK. I don't have Netflix or a VCR. (a VCR isn't ideal for a iRiff or Rifftrax anyway. Some bootleg distributor would have to put in a countdown to be played perfectly) I ended up getting a slightly cut version sourced from a VHS with the intro cut out completely and then edited it on a video editor with the uncut intro that was found on the 10-min sampler, LUCKY ME!) I found the riff extremely funny. You improvise very well with your riffs, better than the early days of MST3K on KTMA, actually! I think I gonna get some more of your riffs because this is so funny! The thought of seeing Sean Connery in "a red nappy, knee-high leather boots, pony tail and a Zapata moustache" does frighten me a bit. 5/5 *****

P.S. I know that was a long bit of writing for brackets.

P.P.S. What's wrong with your website? All it says is when the next event is

P.P.P.S. I found a iRiff of what looks like a cutdown version of Hackers. Are you gonna upload a full riff here?

Wow, that's a lot of trouble you went through! Glad it worked out.

I've been lazy with the website - we used to have more information on it, but pending a redesign I"ve just been putting up the flyers for our live shows. Hopefully that will get taken care of soon.

The Hackers clips were actually from a live show we did when we were first starting out. I've been debating whether we should throw that one up or try to re-do it at some point. It winds up heavily edited on YouTube since we cut out a lot of dead air where we had literally nothing funny to say.

Thanks again!
