DMP - Best Of Both Worlds Part One
DMP - Best Of Both Worlds Part One

With the Internets abuzz with J.J. Abrams' successful relaunching of the Star Trek franchise, we invite you to take a step back to yesteryear with us - a big, biomechanical step into Borg territory.

Yes, it's Best of Both Worlds Part One, wherein Captain Picard is captured by the Borg, who are all very upset because they don't get to shave his head like all of their other captives.

Join me and the synchronization Borg, Five of Seventy-Three, as I riff this classic episode!

Performance and script by Matt Nelson; writing assistance by Kevin Rudolph.

Nice Work!

Funny Stuff! Thanks for doing this episode!

Appreciate it!

Glad you enjoyed - I'll most likely do more Trek stuff in the future (and maybe next time I'll manage to get a co-riffer instead of that creepy Borg guy...)

i also might be biased ....

But I definitely found this one enjoyable and, dare I say it, far more to my liking than previous Dark Matter Productions riffs. I've always thought Matt's stuff was good, but just not busy enough for me. I think he's solved that problem with this one. Very funny stuff all the way through. My personal favorite riff (which will make no sense out of context): "Fine." Single riffer products CAN be good; it just takes someone talented enough to pull it off. Great job.

awwww, you DO love me!

It's funny you mention the "busy" aspect, because I generally have a ten-second rule with my riffs - as in, you better write something approximately every ten seconds - and I broke that rule SEVERAL times in this one. And "Fine" is one of my favorites too! So glad someone besides me thought that was funny. :D
