I bought and reauthored (merged it into a custom made DVD) yesterday. I'll say this is pretty good stuff for an iRiff, about as good as the official Mike/Bill Rifftrax. Sound quality was good, and it was good that they compensated for the loud action scenes in the movie by giving the riff audio good high volume. I still had to autoduck, though I autoduck on official Rifftrax too.
I still felt two things were missing. First, the intro could have been longer. At about 35 seconds, they got right to the point. I think though that it could have used a little introduction to the riffers. Nothing fancy, just a "Welcome to Counterclockwise Comedy Roast Riff of Top Gun, I'm ________ and with me are ________ and _______." I didn't know who was riffing or how many people were riffing, and that felt a little off.
Also, it needed some kind of Disembaudio-type sync voice. The basic instructions of "unpause after this point" are a good jumping off point, but it always leaves a lag of 1-2 seconds. I know this doesn't sound like much, but if you're a second ahead or behind, it really screws with the timing of some jokes. It's hard to describe. Aside from this, it makes syncing the tracks up in Audacity tougher.
But otherwise, good product. 4 stars.
