Q: What is an iRiff?
A: An iRiff is a home-made audio commentary that you can upload to the RiffTrax Store and sell to our thousands of daily visitors. You'll make 50% of the net revenue your iRiff generates, paid in quarterly installments on balances over $25.
Q: What do the different formats, NTSC and PAL, mean?
A: The short answer is that NTSC files are for people in North America, including the United States and Canada. PAL files are for users in regions other than Region 1, such as the United Kingdom and Australia. The long answer has to do with technical specifications of each format. NTSC and PAL have different framerates - meaning a PAL video actually is a bit faster than its NTSC counterpart, making it somewhat shorter. It's difficult to notice unless you have two versions of the same movie (or audio file) playing side-by-side; but eventually you'll notice the PAL version being ahead of the NTSC version. Sometimes the difference is as much as a few minutes! If you find that your mp3 file is constantly out of sync with the DVD you're watching, first make sure that you've downloaded the correct format of mp3 (NTSC for Region 1, PAL for elsewhere) and then check other things, such as the DVD version (Collector's Edition, Director's Cut, etc.) is correct for that mp3 file. Charlie Brown can't get a break no matter what time of the year it is, and the holiday-hits just keep on coming for him. Stuck with one of the worst costumes in history and given nothing to eat but rocks, Charlie Brown doggedly refuses to acknowledge the fact that everyone in the world totally hates his guts. Meanwhile, Linus is too distracted by the rampant consumerism of the season (because Schulz only ever had one real holiday plotline that he just kept recycling) to worry about costumes and candy; he's decided to spend his evening risking hypothermia in a pumpkin-patch, vainly hoping to witness the return of the Great Pumpkin, who will usher in a new-age of sweet presents for Linus. Also, Snoopy does battle with the Red Baron and embarks on a heartbreaking trek across the wartorn landscape of Europe circa World War I. And what any of this has to do with Halloween is anyone's guess.

not a hell of a lot to say here since a) it's so short and b) if you know cinester at all you know you're going to get quality. the red baron sequence drags a bit, but that's because the red baron sequence unriffed drags like a murdered prostitute being carried UPSTAIRS. the great pumpkin as lovecraftian horror jokes are, though possibly a bit obvious, by far my favorite thing about this. well worth watching!
