Q: What is an iRiff?
A: An iRiff is a home-made audio commentary that you can upload to the RiffTrax Store and sell to our thousands of daily visitors. You'll make 50% of the net revenue your iRiff generates, paid in quarterly installments on balances over $25.
Q: What do the different formats, NTSC and PAL, mean?
A: The short answer is that NTSC files are for people in North America, including the United States and Canada. PAL files are for users in regions other than Region 1, such as the United Kingdom and Australia. The long answer has to do with technical specifications of each format. NTSC and PAL have different framerates - meaning a PAL video actually is a bit faster than its NTSC counterpart, making it somewhat shorter. It's difficult to notice unless you have two versions of the same movie (or audio file) playing side-by-side; but eventually you'll notice the PAL version being ahead of the NTSC version. Sometimes the difference is as much as a few minutes! If you find that your mp3 file is constantly out of sync with the DVD you're watching, first make sure that you've downloaded the correct format of mp3 (NTSC for Region 1, PAL for elsewhere) and then check other things, such as the DVD version (Collector's Edition, Director's Cut, etc.) is correct for that mp3 file. This Riff is UNCANNY!
I've wondered for awhile if anyone would try a riff for this movie and I got my answer...... hell yeah!
I guess in 1963 this movie was considered shocking for being one of the first movies to show gore, but the "terror" has been replaced over time by high camp. Really, if you don't like blood and gore in your movie, this should not be a problem for you. The "blood" is a bright red syrup that looks nothing like blood. The "gory part" are obviously rubber or parts you can find the meat counter at the grocery store.
The riffing itself is very funny and the guys sound like they had a good time riffing it. It is almost like watching the movie with three smart asses watching the movie with you.

It's okay
This isn't bad. The audio/video is above average and my only complaint about it is that there is a hissing noise associated with the delivery of a joke. It’s annoying but I can’t criticize too much as I have the same problem with my iRiffs. The jokes are okay and despite having multiple performers you successfully avoided making the easiest mistake that an iRiffer can which is making too many jokes. I did get bored but I also laughed a few times and wasn't annoyed by the performance itself. Your style and delivery is good while being just different enough help you stand out amongst the iRiff crowd. Given how short the movie was I feel the jokes should have been better and you were a bit too self-referential. (“you can throw up in the pumpkin,” ‘we have Microriffs making fun us,’ that sort of thing) Overall I would say this was above average and I have no doubt that to many your group will be perceived as great and it's easy for me to imagine you amassing a fan base. You're no Atomic Treatment or Mr.B.Natural :-) but you're better than most iRiffs. With time you could be one of the greats.
