In the rich tradition of Night at the Museum, Mannequin.. uh, Mannequin 2... comes the "educational" film, "To Enrich Mankind" in which a statue of Archimedes comes to life and teaches a valuable lesson about mechanical engineering to Gus the Curator, a man so cranky he makes Archie Bunker look like Fred Rogers.Runtime 23:10.

Nice riffs, Has own theme music and intro. 440+MB download is kinda steep...
Nice effort well worth a dollar.
I'll admit, the preview for your other offering didn't do anything for me, but this looked fun so I gave it a try. Pretty good overall, and definitely worth the cost of admission. Minor faults: There were a few missed opportunities that stood out (the biggest was no response to the line that went something close to: 'Mechanical engineering has given us joy and happiness' while they're showing, I believe, a ferris wheel), but mostly full of good quips. I also had a problem w/the video freezing a few times (no biggie) but, annoyingly, it also totally froze at 21:20 in (about 2 minutes before the end). No idea if this was a problem w/my download in specific, the file, the transcode (if there was one) or what, but I'm guessing it's not really your fault. All in all, a really good riff.
Favorite line: "I live here in your imagination collecting John Deere paraphernalia."

if you're ever hard up for a drinking game, watch this and take a sip/shot every time the phrase "mechanical engineer/s/ing" is used. you'll be sloshed in no time.

Thanks for feedback both Mike and AGM. I knew there had to be a great riff at that opportunity Mike but I couldn't think of something good so I just let it go rather than do something lame. Sorry your file messed up. I made sure to check my file before loading it so I don't think it was on my end. I think that even now there are lots of ghosts in the machine being exorcised. It's funny how some people name their favorite riffs and they are so different from mine.
Neat intro. The riffs come fast with barely any room to breath, but there's a bigger problem here: THE FILE IS WAY TO FRICKEN BIG! It makes my computer chug. The sound can get off sync, and the only way to fix it is it stop the video and manually go back the place I left off. Maybe that's just my computer, I don't know, but there's no reason a 20-minute video should be this huge. Favorite Riff: "Wait a minute, the wedge and the incline plane is the same thing! I've stumbled on an engineering scandal that will rock the world!"
As always top-notch stuff. You are easily as good as official Rifftrax. The file size is way too big and I suppose the audio quality could be better but honestly, this is great. So worth the dollar. (and this time I actually paid for it) I had no video problems like what the others described. Best iRiffer around, one of the best VODs around, all around good stuff. I can't praise enough, you deserve so much more than you get when it comes to ratings and such. Oh, and I liked the intro as well but it did confuse me a bit because I thought it was part of the short at first. Great job!
